Marcella grew up in a loving home that mostly consisted of her father. Her mother made rare visits, but most of her life it was simply her and her dad. With the long hours he worked to support the both of them, Marcella had to learn patients and responsibility at a young age.She always kept herself occupied when her dad was away to help drown out the silence of their home. Thus, she enjoyed when her mom would make her random visits. The house would always be filled with joy and laughter, until it was time for her to leave, which is when her stubborn side was most present.Though she was told by her father constantly that she reminded him a lot of her mother, her mother saw much of her dad in her. With being a people pleaser and constant worrying. In her parents opinion, she got the best and worst of both worlds.

History

It's not unheard of for a succubus or incubus to return to a victim more than once. To feed from their sexual energy and drain them till they're sucked dry.However, it is odd when one joins their victim for dinner. For nights out on the town, late night movie visits and dancing to the sweet sound of New Orleans.To say a demon was romantically taken with a human was nearly unheard of. Again, nearly. Normally a demon would get bored after taking so much energy from the same host for so long. But what the demon and human shared was more than sexual chemistry.And soon, what they shared was a creature of their creation. A child.

Children between demons were not rare, especially those of the sexual kind. But a child between a demon and a human, now that was a rarity.However, Marcella was born. Born to a human and a succubus, both who were both horrified and delighted at the path of parenthood.It wasn't easy. The late nights of crying, feeding, and Marcella's mother checking her child frequently for any demonic traits. Gently tussling her hair for any signs of horns during her first birthday. Patting her daughters back after a feeding and for signs of a tail.Although Marcella showed what both her mother and father assumed were fully human traits, the family remained together until Marcella entered school.

Tension began to grow between her parents. Her fathers aging and her mother slipping out into the night to not return for days on end. Sometimes even months. When the dinner table would be lonely would Marcella ask, "When is momma coming home?". She'd watch as her fathers aging eyes would just stare at his food, insisting it would be soon.On the days her mother would return, the gap seemed to expand between her parents. Her mother seeming unnaturally youthful, and her father aging by the day. There would be days they'd sit in the living room and watch tv like they used to. Sometimes Marcella would peak into the hall when she was supposed to be asleep, watching as her parents danced to her fathers old record player.

It wasn't till she entered middle school did her father and mother explains things more thoroughly. Her mother was a demon, and her father a simple human man. That her mother was officially moving elsewhere though she'd visit as much as she could.Due to this, Marcella held resentment towards both her parents. For the secret they kept from her, for a simple conversation to make her feel torn inside. Most kids parents were lawyers, retail workers, musicians, etc. Her parents? Apparently a music teacher and a demon.It wasn't till she got older did things start changing for the worse. After graduation did she start attending her local college. Finally, she started dating, going out and living life more fully.And then, the headaches began. The ones that left her sobbing in her dorm room and sick to her stomach. To the point she had to return home and take a break from school. A break she never ended up returning from.Her father had been insistent that she should speak with her mother, however, Marcella refused. It wasn't till her mother showed up at their door did they come to face the music. Marcella was a late bloomer. A succubus through and through.

Having shown no signs at such a young age, both her parents had assumed she would live to grow as a human. However, it seemed to be a different case.Marcella's mother began visiting more after that, slowly guiding her daughter and teaching her how to slip into peoples dreams, trying to explain to her what being a succubus meant. However, Marcella was never able to fully commit to draining the energy from the hosts she had found.Having grown up around humans, she felt it was an invasion upon them. She felt like a parasite. To help ease the pain of her daughter, did Marcella's mother suggest she move to where she had gone. To Grimm Falls. There she would be able to connect with others who weren't human. And maybe she can learn to accept and become what she really is.With the suggestion and a heavy heart did Marcella pack her things. With a final goodbye to her father, did she for once disappear with her mother into the night, with no intentions to return.
